ILLUME candles are crafted from either our natural-wax formulation of soy, palm and beeswax or our food-grade paraffin. Both waxes make very high-quality candles. Although soy is known to have a cleaner burn, the most important factor in a clean-burning candle is a proper cotton- or paper-core wick. ILLUME uses only cotton- and paper-core wicks.
